3. What Do I Say?

To begin, use a set-up phrase, letting your system know you’re OK with yourself even with a problem.

Say, “Even though I have this ____________, I love and accept myself anyway.”

If it’s hard to say that to yourself, just say, “Even though I have this _______________, I WANT TO love and accept myself anyway.”

Choose a 1- or 2-word phrase describing the problem, such as “This anger,” or “this fear,” or “this back pain.”   It’s best to be specific; for example:  “this anger at Ralph,” or “this worry about the meeting,” or “this left lower back pain.”

Now that you know how to tap, where to tap, and the basics of what to say, learn how to actually tap for yourself at Put It Together.”
